Patient Information

New Patients

Due to high demand, our clinic implements a triage process based on clinical urgency and our availability.

To schedule an appointment with our specialists, new patients must submit a referral before booking. This allows us to gather the necessary medical information to prioritise and schedule appropriately.

Please ensure all referrals contain the following information:

  • Referral: Date of referral, Speciality, Referring practitioner, Provider Number, Referrer’s signature.
  • Patient Demographic: Full name, Date of birth, Postal address, Contact numbers, Medicare Number, Interpreter required.
  • Clinical: Reason for referral, Duration of symptoms, Management to date, Past medical history, Current medications, Allergies, Diagnostics as per referral guidelines X-ray results/reports must be within the last 6 months.

Once we have received all clinical information, we will make contact to schedule an appointment. If there is going to be a significant delay in this process, we will contact you to discuss alternative options.

Telehealth

Telehealth allows patients to have consultations with healthcare providers via video or telephone. As part of the Australian Government's COVID response, Telehealth is now available to all patients attending appointments with a consultant physician. We conduct Telehealth consultations through GP Consults.

How does Telehealth Video Call work?

  1. You will need either a smartphone, tablet, or laptop or desktop computer with a functioning camera and microphone.
  2. Find a reasonably quiet location with good internet connection.
  3. At the time of your appointment you will receive a text message containing a video link. Click on the link, and you will be connected to the doctor
  4. Following the consultation, our reception staff will call you to schedule in any review appointments and can collect payment by credit card over the phone. Rebates for Telehealth services are the same as those paid for the equivalent face-to-face services and will be processed directly to your bank account as usual.

Parking

There are free 2-hour parking spaces available around the 183 Tynte Street building. Additionally, we are located next to North Adelaide Village, which also offers free 2-hour parking.
